50,000 smartphones are ready for distribution to students says Punjab CM Amarinder Singh for online classes

The Punjab State government has decided to distribute 50,000 Smartphones to the girls students from class 9 to class 12 in their state for online learning on priority during Covid 19 crisis. This could really helpful to the poor people to not distract from the schools or colleges. 

During this pandemic Covid 19 situation, educational institutions across the country were remained shut since March 2020. Central government has not yet decided on reopening of schools and colleges because of current situation. Thought there were talks going to reopen from September 2020 after analyzing the situations.

The Punjab State Government forced the educational institutions to start cunducting online classes for the students. To make sure the students not miss out classes Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has shared this news on their offical twitter. The tweet as "50,000 smarphones ready for distribution, Chief Minister @ capt_amarinder Singh tells."

The Punjab state government also directed the schools not to impose books, published by private publishers on the students studying in their schools. The government has also recommended the private schools to use books published by the certified institutes, as per an official release by the Punjab government.
